I've been reading DC's Showcase and Marvel's Essentials lines, and I have come to the conclusion that I really, really enjoy the blatantly obvious editorial comments in older books. For example, wouldn't this panel from Red Son be so much better if it had been published like this?
Because, you know, how else would we know that's the communist logo transposed on the classic Superman crest?
