I actually miss the old-style captions in the new books.
Unlike Dan, I really do miss those captions by the editors, who sometimes were as lost as I was when reading an issue. I mean from a new reader's perspective I would have liked to know what issue Hawkeye died in so they could bring him back and break the internet in half. Seriously I think its a crucial part of storytelling sometimes to let the reader know when things happen, so they don't feel left out, for example:
That would have come in handy during New Avengers....see simple, but effective.
Yeah, we could especially use those with New Avengers. Until Toxin came out, I didn't know that Carnage was killed by The Sentry until somebody pointed it out to me and I had to re-read New Avengers #1.
