A quick note regarding solicits
Argh!
I just read Nightwing 118 myself - it's a great issue, and while the identity of the second Nightwing is pretty easy to guess, I didn't need it spelled out for me in the goddamn solicitation for the next issue! Thst just pisses me the hell off. It's like no one told the author that the identity of the second Nightwing was going to be revealed twice, once on the cover and again in the solicit. The story is written like a mystery, but there's no mystery there!

I felt the same way. I thought that there was a little bit of mystery still there even after the cover. And I didn't read the solicitation until after I read the issue and before I wrote my review. I thought "Oh that kida blows the issue, dammit" so I wrote as if I never saw it a little. But yeah solicitations ruin it again, it's all about them benjamins!
Just an aside here, you all ever thought about doing reviews for The Walking Dead, I mean I know there isn't really any color to it, other then the cover and inside, black and white, but, just a thought.
Uhhh, okay...
I was pretty sure that a certain someone was using the mantle of Nightwing as soon as I saw the preview of the issue's cover. The knife is pretty prominent and we've been seeing it for quite a while now. That having been said, I too was a little disappointed that the solicit for the next issue just blatantly gives it away.
On the other hand, it could be a complete disconnect between artist, writer, cover artist and editor, because the knife that the second Nightwing used in the book WASN'T the one on the cover.
