It's a secret invasion of the About Heroes podcast! Is one of us a Skrull? Ben joins the regulars to help us figure it out. On this episode:
Episode 98 - Maybe He Really Does Love You
I enjoy his Ultimate Spder-man reviews and others, but I also thought he would at least read Infinite Crises before he said it was bad. Other than that, great podcast, thank you guys.
Hey Guys,
Yeah, I didn't care for the Infinite Crisis. I respect what it is doing for DC, and there are some wonderful creators working on the book. It just boils down to this: I looked through the last three issues and was really confused. I really didn't follow what was going on and didn't know who hardly any of those characters were in that double page spread at the end of IC 7. It just didn't appeal to me. I'm sorry and I didn't want to offend anyone. Look at Melanie, Omar, Dan, and Chris. They all loved it, and that's cool. We are still friends and we all love comic books, IC just didn't work for me.
I still enjoy DC books (Justice, All Star Books, Superman/Batman, Supergirl, Upcoming Batman and Detective and JLA) but I just have to say nay when it comes to IC. Notice how I was quiet and respectful when they talked about it. It's their opinion and I didn't want to bash them or their thoughts or feelings on the book.
But yeah, it all boils down to I don't care about it. I'm sorry, that's just how I feel. I'll try not to upset you guys in future podcasts, I just didn't care about IC.
Ben-
They're your opinions - don't be afraid of voicing them. It's specifically because your opinions are generally so different from mine that I enjoy having you on the podcast!
