Where did Keith Giffen go? The book felt like it was missing some humor, and now that I'm looking at the book closely, I noticed that Giffen was not there. Is he the new editor of 52 now that Steve Wacker left?
"How I survived my Infinite Crisis." Yeah, where did Jaime go for a year? Nowhere. "The scarab didn't think I could handle the Green Lanterns, so it hopped me into the space between dimensions. [...] When Brother Eye blew, the backwash shoved us farther along between dimensions. Time works differently there. That year... was just a couple of minutes for me."
WHAT? Way to kill your book! So Jaime was basically a victim of a teleportation error. Now that we know the Scarab is alien in origin, and rather have Jaime visit or be visited by the Scarab's creators in that missing year, we chalk it up to dimensional backwash. Not Cool! Other than that revelation, we get more info into what Jaime did on Brother Eye in Infinite Crisis. To me, this should have been issue 3 or 4, when Infinite Crisis was still fresh in our minds. Cully Hamner returns and continues his solid work. Hopefully he will use fewer fill-ins for this next arc. C.
