Were you wondering how Wolverine healed so fast when he fought Nitro? If you're looking for a definitive answer, do not get this book. This book tells what happens to Logan's soul every time he has to re-heal from near-death. Basically, every time Logan "dies" he goes into purgatory and sees a white door, which he cannot enter, and does battle with some guy named Lazaer. Who? Yeah, I don't know either. If Lazaer wins, Logan dies for good, if Logan wins, he gets to live again. That's about it.
In the purgatory bits, Ramos art switches to his style he used in Revalations, which he did for Dark Horse with Paul Jenkins. Its great there and the same in other places. No more long necks, thank god. This is a totally skippable issue of Wolverine, when does Jeph Loeb start?
C-.
Evilomar's comment: Give me a fucking break. What the fuck kind of explanation is this? I would rather have seen them rip-off Lobo's abilties than this horrible explanation for Wolverine beating death. Again I say: What the fuck?!!

and...they kinda left the ending open in a way, they never explained why his soul cannot find rest, doing the whole "Well that's another story for another time" BS.
