About Heroes

Last week it was announced by The Hero Initiative. That teamed with Marvel Comics and the industry's top talent to create 100 covers for Ultimate Spider-Man #100. The Hero Initiative is a federally chartered not-for-profit corporation dedicated strictly to helping comic book creators in need. These 100 covers will go for auction on Ebay or at comic shows. Artist ranging from John Romita Sr, Neil Gaiman (wha wha?), Sergio Argones to Scott Kolins. Hell, they even got Todd McFarlane to draw a cover. The covers for the most part are simply amazing and then there are some like Ed Mcguinness that just didn't seem to care and just drew the Hulk and Wolverine! What the fuck? I guess Spider-man wouldn't look good with his short and thick art style. You can check out the rest of the covers here
