Give credit where credit is due. Heath Ledger, yeah thats right Mr. Brokeback Mountain looks pretty fucking scary. I told people I had faith in Christopher Nolan and David Goyer.

This has been floating around for a while. It is not in fact heath ledger. It's a fan mockup using a photo of an old vaudeville era performer.
I did some more digging and this picture comes from the 1928 movie "The Man Who Laughs"
I investigated it too, I couldn't find anything but I'll keep looking. If thats right, thanks for setting it and me straight. Maybe it IS too good to be true.

As far as I know, it was created by a poster on the Superhero Hype message boards long before Ledger was cast.

Ya i'm really disappointed in you guys for not doing the proper leg work on this one. That manip has been around since before they even officially announced a Batman Begins sequel. And whoever sent you it isn't a very nice person for tricking you guys.
The truth is that they haven't begun anything past pre-production and have not even finished casting the film so I would take ANY news you get about the film right now as complete bullshit. The only source I have found that does the most research and skepticism on the film news is batman-on-film.com
I would check with them anytime before you guys post news about the film, they have the low down.
I'll take fault for this one, not the guy who sent it to me, he's a good guy he just didn't know, and it got me excited. On the plus side I like everyone responding the hell out of this. I'm going to play dumb more often it really gets people talking. Did you hear there is going to be a Robin solo movie starring Jet Li? LOL
