About Heroes

Chris, you forgot they ALREADY did a story between Episodes 5 & 6. It was called "Shadows Of The Empire" and did the same thing that "The Force Unleashed" and "The Clone Wars" did. Introduced a character that you know didn't stick around long enough to be worth anything to the main story. Just like you can miss out on the other two and never know the difference.

I was going to send this as an email, but I'M THROUGH WRITING EMAILS UNTIL THEY ACTUALLY GET READ! SO PUT UP YOU FREAKING WI-FI, OMAR! I'M CALLING YOU OUT, TOO! lol

Thanks for mentioning "Shadows of the Empire", Jeff! I gotta tell ya, though, I kinda liked Dash Rendar, even if he was a Han Solo clone. (I did like the Outrider, though! Got the toy for that!) Plus, the story of "Shadows of the Empire" was pretty cool, especially with a villian like Prince Xizor.

And Chris....ACTUALLY, (lol!), you also forgot they ALREADY did a story between Episodes 4 & 5, called "Splinter of the Mind's Eye". It's an interesting story, considering they wrote it with no idea of what would take place in "Empire". Plus, don't forget the cool Star Wars newspaper comics that were done by Archie Goodwin and Al Williamson before "The Empire Strikes Back" was released.

Omar, my friend...all I can say is, PLEASE put up your Wi-Fi, for the sake of everyone's sanity! LOL!

I'll hold off on emails too, in case you guys call me to get my opinion on "The Clone Wars". Then, I can give you opinions on books and other stuff as well.

I didn't forget it Ray. I don't usually count "Splinter", even though it was the first actual original story to come out after "Star Wars" and before "Empire". I don't really count it, because to me that would like counting the monthly comic book back then. There wasn't as strong a sense of continuity back then, remember? Not like now.

And as for Omar.. Trust me, when he sees what Dan gets in the mail next week, Omar will definitely have his wi-fi up. Bwah-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha!

Though there are some concerns with the continuity of The Force Unleashed...I will say the game demo I've played is BAD ASS. Any game wherein you can pick up a Tie-Fighter with the force and smash it into a platoon of Storm Troopers...well come on...how do you not enjoy that at least a little. I'd still like to see Knights of the Old Republic 3 before this game though...how about you guys?

As far as Omar's wifi goes...Drwhofan if your talkin bout what I think your talkin about...I have already offered to set it up and been rebuffed...I think Dan and I are gonna have to like go all Oceans 11 on his house and set the thing up.

Yeah, Nick. I played the demo the other day at a friend's house.

And all I can say about the wi-fi is this, Dan's gold is on it's way. Be there at the next podcast, Nick. And after Dan talks about it, be sure to ask Omar this question, "After you see what Jeff just did to Dan, do you REALLY want to be in his crosshairs??"
