In this episode, talk bout iPads, taxes, Captain America Movie, The Losers (short) Review, The Walking Dead AMC show, Blackest Night, Seige, Brightest Day, Iron Man Movie Trailer, The Return of Bruce Wayne, The Ultimates, Invincible, and tons of other stuff...
In this episode, we read and discuss an email from a fan and discuss upcoming movie news. First comic mentioned is The Boys. Blackest Knight is in there as well. There's some flash and a teensy bit of marvel, but it's mostly Ultimate-oriented. Listen, and listen well my friends.

Good times, my friends. After the last West Coast Podcast, our buddy (and band-leader) Justin Q was inspired to elaborate on our mental image of Cap deciding to enter the Siege-fray at the end of Siege Issue #1 with an awesome sketch.

In this episode, it's the return of "At the Movies With About Heroes!" The West Coast crew make a listener's dream come true at the cost of their sanity by watching the Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers Movie from 1995. Grab your copy or obtain a copy by some means (we won't tell) and jump in with us. IT'S MORPHIN' TIME!!!
In this episode, we discuss Blackest Night #1, Deadpool stuff, SDCC, Twilight hatred, X-Men: Necrosha, Dark Reign, New Avengers, Blabbity blah blah...IT'S COMICS!!!
We have a twitter account! For more frequent comic-oriented updates, follow us: TWEET. Also, feel free to email us: aboutheroes 'AT' gmail.com (I know I say a different account name in the podcast, i made a new one!!!)
In this episode, we discuss the return of Captain America, The Extensive Bat-Family, How to get girlfriends to read comics, Man-Baskets, Blackest Night, and various other random things. Enjoy!
Also, We have a twitter account! For more frequent comic-oriented updates, we decided to get our tweet on to update you when new podcasts are up and to toss out blurbs of comic oriented mirth. Follow us: CLICK.!!
In this episode, we discuss all things comic oriented (or at least the stuff we care about). Deadpool, Punisher, Batman & Robin, War of Light, Green Lantern, Iron Man, and debate the stupidity of Knife-Guns. Also, 10 black super heroes are named. Who'd we miss?
I'm back for Chris' last episode before the big move! Among other things, we touch on Batman: Brave and the Bold, Ultimate Hulk Annual 1, Green Lantern 36, Wolverine 70, Batman 684, Captain America, Justice Society of America 22 and Avengers The Initiative 20.
Omar and Melanie are back! They regale us with Japan stories, and we then work our way to Buffy 16, Batman 678, Joker's Asylum - The Joker 1, Patsy Walker: Hellcat 1, Astonishing X-Men 25, Doctor Who - Journey's End, Y - The Last Man and American Dream.
Bit of a delay getting this episode published; would you believe a hard drive crash? No? How about a driver conflict? How about six fishing boats and a dinghy?
Anyway, Ray joins us this week via Skype to discuss Omar's wedding, Secret Invasion & all of its crossovers, Doctor Who - The Stolen Earth, the Incredible Hulk movie, Wall-E and Pixar films, Transformers Spotlight Cyclonus and Batman: Gotham Knight and RIP.
Before Omar and Melanie leave for their honeymoon, they graced us with their presence for this podcast, in which we chat about Trinity 2 & 3, Booster Gold 10, Gotham Underground 9, Salvation Run 7, Titans 3, Skarr Son of Hulk 1, Gen X 2, Invincible 50, Wolverine 66, Kickass 3, and thoughts on collecting, buying and selling comics.
It's no secret that we've had trouble actually getting the group together for the podcast. After two or three aborted attempts at meeting this week, we decided to do the whole thing with spit and duct tape - that's right, we did a whole podcast via Skype. But the good news is that we got Jeff to join us for this one!
It starts with a bit of an e-mail shuffle, then Jeff announces a contest. From there, we start into our rants, hitting Manhunter 31, Trinity 1 & 2, the last 2 episodes of Doctor Who, Justice Society of America 16, Secret Invasion 3...
AND THEN SKYPE CRAPS OUT AND WE HAVE TO RECONNECT
...and then we continue on to Avengers-Invaders 2, some toy talk about Iron Man, Transformers Animated, DC Infinite Heroes, Invincible Iron Man 2, Wolverine, Cable 4, Young X-Men 4, and we cap it off with Buffy 15.
It's a post-100 world, folks. We're older and wiser now. It just doesn't show.
We start our episode with a recap of the Cincinnati Botcon and a little talk about the 25th Anniversary Transformers line they previewed at the show. Then we run through some wonderful e-mails and we talk about a few comics from the last two weeks, including Free Comic Book Day X-Men, Blue Beetle 26, Mighty Avengers 12 & New Avengers 40, DC Universe 0 and Green Lantern 30. Then we wrap up the episode with a discussion of the best comic book movie ever filmed, IRON MAN.
The second part of Episode 100 includes gifts from Jeff, Ray's magic, Omar and Ben's drunkenness (just so you have fair warning), a conversation with Josh, and some comic book talk, about:
Jeff Hartz comes all the way from Florida South Carolina to join us for a look back at some of our favorite moments from the last 99 episodes of About Heroes. Part B, which includes Ray's magic trick, will go up later this week.
It was a bit of a slow week in comic books, but we soldier on through and talk about:
"Old Nerds with Jeff & Ray"
Batman - Death Mask 1
Titans 1
Serenity - Better Days 2
Booster Gold 8
Justice Society of America 24
Wolverine 64
Green Lantern Corps 23
BPRD 1946 4
The Goon
Also, two quick notes. Yes, this episode is intentionally without the opening music and episode title, because I thought the way we recorded it was funnier. And we've decided to integrate the clip show we spoke of before into episode 100. We didn't forget.
