It's no secret that we've had trouble actually getting the group together for the podcast. After two or three aborted attempts at meeting this week, we decided to do the whole thing with spit and duct tape - that's right, we did a whole podcast via Skype. But the good news is that we got Jeff to join us for this one!
It starts with a bit of an e-mail shuffle, then Jeff announces a contest. From there, we start into our rants, hitting Manhunter 31, Trinity 1 & 2, the last 2 episodes of Doctor Who, Justice Society of America 16, Secret Invasion 3...
AND THEN SKYPE CRAPS OUT AND WE HAVE TO RECONNECT
...and then we continue on to Avengers-Invaders 2, some toy talk about Iron Man, Transformers Animated, DC Infinite Heroes, Invincible Iron Man 2, Wolverine, Cable 4, Young X-Men 4, and we cap it off with Buffy 15.

Since we've finally been able to coordinate enough to get a few of us together in the same place at the same time, we were able to talk about Final Crisis 1 and Batman 677 (which led into a 'discussion' about Grant Morrison's storytelling), Giant-Size Astonishing X-Men, Uncanny X-Men 498, 1985 1, All-Star Superman 11, X-Force 4, and of course, Indiana Jones and the Unnecessarily Long Film Title. In this episode, we catch up on two weeks of comics, and try to fit two weeks worth of awesomeness into one episode. Now with more intensity!

We start our episode with a recap of the Cincinnati Botcon and a little talk about the 25th Anniversary Transformers line they previewed at the show. Then we run through some wonderful e-mails and we talk about a few comics from the last two weeks, including Free Comic Book Day X-Men, Blue Beetle 26, Mighty Avengers 12 & New Avengers 40, DC Universe 0 and Green Lantern 30. Then we wrap up the episode with a discussion of the best comic book movie ever filmed, IRON MAN.
